Grace and peace be multiplied to you… (2 Peter 1:2)”
New Times
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1).
Literary ministry is God’s mission, serving both through word and deed. It is a sermon delivered through diverse literary works. "The sower sows the word," says our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Mark 4:14). In proclaiming the word of God lies the primary mission of Christ’s disciples, Who "is, and was, and is to come" (Revelation 1:8). A good preacher is often a good writer as well (provided, of course, that they still find time for literary endeavors).
A good Christian writer, in turn, is a good preacher. It is not about the means the evangelist uses to convey important information, but about the message itself, delivered by the messenger of the Lord of the harvest.
The publishers of the almanac are glad to help ensure that, by the grace of Almighty God, authors bring the good news to a wide readership, and that readers, in turn, find "their authors" who can express what they think or intuitively sense.
Despite the widespread use of digital technologies for transmitting oral and written artistic expression, many readers still prefer books in their classic form. The publishers sought to meet the spiritual needs of precisely such an audience while working on this edition of the "New Times" almanac.
It includes literary works written in various forms and genres. Here you will find poetry and prose, sermons and stories, reflections and personal testimonies.
We introduce our readers to the works of well-known authors and discover new, previously unfamiliar names.
Many attentive readers will likely find answers to the questions that have been on their minds.
It is quite possible that our readers will discover a certain talent for literary creativity within themselves, which, with proper care, will flourish and bear fruit in writing their own stories, poems, and testimonies.
An author without reader feedback is like a bird without wings. A reader without an author is like a traveler lost in guesses, without proper life landmarks.
In the fields of the evangelical harvest, every worker is both a sower and a reaper. In the Creator’s domain, we often reap what others have sown. And what we sow by the grace of our Lord will likely be reaped by workers whom the Lord of the harvest sends to His field after us. Let us be obedient to the command of Jesus Christ: "Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field" (Matthew 9:38).
Today both the sower and the reaper rejoice, because together they contribute to the spiritual stewardship of God’s mysteries (Ephesians 3:9).
As an editorial board, we sincerely thank God, Who works all things according to the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11).
The latest edition of the "New Times" almanac is, for all of us — publishers, authors, readers — a testimony of God’s mercy.
Thank you to all of you, dear friends, readers, authors, editors, and publishers, for your contributions through words and deeds, advice and time, finances and prayer in preparing this edition.

Reader Reviews
